Official Announcement

Last night, coaches and officials gathered together for the Annual PIAA Rules Interpretation Meeting, required for any coach or official wishing to take part in PIAA High School play. Amidst much productive discussion, this year's rule changes were addressed and explained to all by Jeff Thompson and Joe Healey, ALOA Officials and Rules Interpreters for the chapter. Afterward, each group met separately for some brief administrative points, and then all were invited to Pizza Roma in Sewickley for beverages, pizza, and wings. Following this meeting, hopes are high all around for another stellar lacrosse season ahead.

Whether or not you've played lacrosse before, we always welcome individuals who are looking to help young student-athletes advance their own personal skills. If you or someone you know is looking to get involved in an active, leadership role within the lacrosse community of Western PA and Northern WV, check out our checklist of steps to take to earn your USLacrosse and PIAA Certifications in Boy's Lacrosse Officiating.
